Team Dresch Portland Concert reviews
The best band out there!
"I finally got to see my favorite band Friday night in Hill Auditorium, and it was worth the wait. My wife and I were in the 3rd row and had a wonderful view of the band, and had a ton of fun. By the sounds of it, though, I should have tried to rig the voting like one young fan did. Jeff was quite witty for the in-between-song banter, and made it even more fun, almost like a smaller venue. If you've got delicate ears, then I recommend some ear plugs or staying away from the front rows, cause they do rock out. They had a lot of energy, and my wife wanted to get some of his albums right away. Liam Finn Eliza-Jane and were a great opening act as well. But they are definitely the best band out there right now, live or recorded. I have followed Team Dresch since Being There, and for one reason or another I was never able to get to a live show. He and his band were in great form and played many of my favorite songs...they've got so many now, that it would be hard to expect them to play all of my favorites. Wish I was at the Royal Oak concert earlier in the year, but my wife had just delivered our first child, and wasn't up to going with me. Can't wait until they're back around!"
